Inter North East CS-GO Competition to be Held from 20th July, Registration now open

An Aizawl based gaming clan, named Chanmari Bois, are organizing a CS-GO competition planned to start from 20th July, 2021. Registration is open till 18th July for all CS-GO teams from the seven sister states of North East India.

The tournament will be held fully online and offers a prize pool of a good Rs.20,000. The event will start off with the group stage and progress into the play-offs with upper and lower brackets. Members of the organizing clan will be monitoring all the players and according to needs, enforce additional anti-cheat measures like the use of Faceit anti-cheat software.

  • Registration fees is Rs.250
  • The team logo needs to be submitted after confirmation.

All the matches will go live on the organizer’s official YouTube channel.

By organizing tournaments like these, the gaming clan seeks to offer a platform for gamers in the North-eastern region and their home state of Mizoram. The clan, Chanmari Bois, is named after their location which is Chanmari, Aizawl and is a part of the city’s gaming circle.

When it comes to e-sports, players from North East India get even less opportunities compared to gamers from mainland India, this applies to almost all PC games including CS-GO. Competitions like these come as a ray of hope and good news for all local gamers and their teams who’ll get competitive experience along with exposure.
