My Hero Academia Casts Kisho Taniyama as Ending

Twitter account for the My Hero Academia anime announced that Kishō Taniyama is playing the villain Ending. The show is currently in it’s 5th ongoing season. The 18th episode will see the debut of Ending in the season.

The season premiered in Japan on March 27. Currently, the story entered the “Internship at Endeavor’s Agency” arc. Funimation and Crunchyroll are both streaming the anime with English subtitles. The first part of the season covered the “Joint Training” arc of the original manga that pits class 1A against class 1B.


The first season of My Hero Academia premiered in April 2016. It consisted of 13 episodes. The 25-episode second season premiered in April 2017, and the third season premiered in April 2018 and ran for 25 episodes. The fourth season with 25 episodes aired in October 2019.

The franchise also has 2 featured films- My Hero Academia: Two Heroes film opened in Japan in July 2018 and My Hero Academia: Heroes Rising in December 2019. The third movie My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: World Heroes’ Mission will premiere on August 6.
