“A rebellious descendant of the old aristocracy who is always out on the battlefield. As one born into the old aristocracy, carrying the bloodline of sinners, Eula has needed a unique approach to the world to navigate the towering walls of prejudice peacefully. Of course, this did not prevent her from severing ties with her clan. As the outstanding Spindrift Knight, she hunts down Mondstadt’s enemies in the wild to exact her unique “vengeance.”“

All the materials needed to reach max ascension level for Eula are listed down below. These can be obtained by defeating the Cryo Hypostasis and Hilichurls. As for dandelion seeds, it can be collected in the wild around the city of Mondstadt.
For upgrading talents, Resistance books are needed. These are the lists of total talent materials for Venti. The Resistance books can be farmed in Forsaken Rift, Mondstadt every Tuesday, Friday, and Sunday. Dragon Lord’s Crown can be farmed from the weekly boss Azhdaha.
Eula is best suited as a physical damage main DPS. Her elemental skill reduces physical resistance and her burst summons a temporary pet companion, a Lightfall Sword that acts like a combo meter that deals an insane amount of physical damage after 7 secs.

Brandishes her greatsword, dealing Cryo DMG to nearby opponents and creating a Lightfall Sword that follows her around for a duration of up to 7s.
While present, the Lightfall Sword increases Eula’s resistance to interruption. When Eula’s own Normal Attack, Elemental Skill, and Elemental Burst deal DMG to opponents, they will charge the Lightfall Sword, which can gain an energy stack once every 0.1s.
Once its duration ends, the Lightfall Sword will descend and explode violently, dealing Physical DMG to nearby opponents.
This DMG scales on the number of energy stacks the Lightfall Sword has accumulated.
If Eula leaves the field, the Lightfall Sword will immediately explode.

For the artifact, the best in slot is the 4 piece Pale Flame set. This artifact set is one of the best artifacts in the game for Physical DMG characters. The 2nd best in slot is a combination of 2 piece Pale Flame with 2 piece Bloodstained Chivalry set.
2-piece Set Effect:
– Physical DMG +25%
4-piece Set Effects:
– When an Elemental Skill hits an opponent, ATK is increased by 9% for 7s. This effect stacks up to 2 times and can be triggered once every 0.3s. Once 2 stacks are reached, the 2-set effect is increased by 100%.
2-piece Set Effect:
– Physical DMG +25%
2-piece Set Effect:
– Physical DMG +25%
As for the the main stat and sub-stats, here’s what I recommend.
- Flower- HP (fixed)
- Plume- ATK (Fixed)
- Sands- ATK%
- Goblet- Physical DMG Bonus%
- Circlet- Crit RATE/DMG whichever is lower accordingly(1:2)
Both of them are good but one thing is clear – you definitely want to get Physical Damage as your set bonus or bonuses and the 4-piece Pale Flame is basically tailor-made for Eula’s Grimheart stacking. For sub-stats, like in the case with any main DPS character, you want to get as much Critical Rate and Critical Damage on your sub-stat. I would recommend putting priority over Critical Rate above anything else.
For weapon, choose one that’s best according to your build, one that compliments with your artifact stats. That said Eula is arguably the most F2P friendly 5 star character regarding her weapons. Her specified weapon, Song of Broken Pines is regarded as her best, but the other 5 stars are also viable, with Wolf’s Gravestone performing better in DMG scaling regarding normal attacks. With a physical DMG bonus of 34.5%, the craftable Snow-Tombed Starsilver can hold on it’s own with no trouble at all among the 4 stars.
Stat Bonus: Physical DMG Bonus upto 20.7%.
Weapon Effect: A part of the “Millennial Movement” that wanders amidst the winds. Increases ATK by 16/20/24/28/32%, and when Normal or Charged Attacks hit opponents, the character gains a Sigil of Whispers. This effect can be triggered once every 0.3s.
When you possess 4 Sigils of Whispers, all of them will be consumed and all nearby party members will obtain the “Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn” effect for 12s.
“Millennial Movement: Banner-Hymn” increases Normal ATK SPD by 12/15/18/21/24% and increases ATK by 20/25/30/35/40%. Once this effect is triggered, you will not gain Sigils of Whispers for 20s. Of the many effects of the “Millennial Movement,” buffs of the same type will not stack.
Stat Bonus: ATK bonus upto 49.6%.
Weapon Effect: Increases ATK by 20/25/30/35/40%. On hit, attacks against opponents with less than 30% HP increase all party members’ ATK by 40/50/60/70/80% for 12s. Can only occur once every 30s.
Stat Bonus: Physical DMG Bonus upto 34.50%
Weapon Effect: Hitting an opponent with Normal and Charged Attacks has a 60/70/80/90/100% chance of forming and dropping an Everfrost Icicle above them, dealing 80/95/110/125/140% AoE ATK DMG. Opponents affected by Cryo are dealt 200/240/280/320/360% ATK DMG instead by the icicle. Can only occur once every 10s.
Stat Bonus: CRIT Rate upto 27.6%.
Weapon Effect: Every 4s a character is on the field, they will deal 6/7/8/9/10% more DMG and take 3/2.7/2.4/2.1/1.8% more DMG. This effect has a maximum of 5 stacks and will not be reset if the character leaves the field, but will be reduced by 1 stack when the character takes DMG.
For team comps, focus more on Eula as the main Physical DPS. This means you need an electro companion in your team to trigger Superconduct, for the 50% Physical RES. And since her burst energy cost is high, you’ll also need a cryo battery. This is just to be used as reference and can be altered anyhow you deem fit with your playstyle. Do use them as building blocks for your team.
In this team, you have Eula as your main DPS, Fischl as a sub DPS or just to trigger superconduct, Diona as your healer and battery for Eula and Zhongli as burst support. The key members of this team is Fischl and Diona- Fischl deals a lot of damage, even when off-field and can trigger superconduct easily with Oz; Diona is gonna be an awesome little battery helper especially if you have the Sacrificial Bow on her which lets you capitalize on even more particle generation. these two can be replaced by other cryo or electro character as each of them offers their own unique advantage. The 4th character is flexible, that means you can fill it with many characters. Personally, I use Zhongli as his shield further reduces PHYs RES by 20%, plus his burst deals a lot of DMG and petrifies enemies. If you dont have him, you can use XinYan as she also decreases resistance at C4 and gives 15% increased physical DMG.
Overall Eula is an amazing DPS character. She outperforms any character in the game right now in terms of raw physical damage. If you have her, congrats, if you don’t have her yet, let’s wait and hope for a rerun of her banner in the coming updates.
