With the number of infected people exceeding 170 million, the Covid 19 pandemic shows no sign of stopping anytime soon. To promote proper understanding of COVID-19 and its prevention, Kodansha produced “New Coronavirus Edition” and “Infection Prevention Edition” of “Cells at Work!”.
“Cells at Work” is a globally known manga published in 16 countries and its animation has been aired in 130 countries. The two new editions will be distributed free of charge to the world as “moving comics” with voice and sound effects. And with the support of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency), these two works will be translated into English and Hindi.
These two works will be used as an educational tool for “Achhi Aadat Campaign“, which basically translate to “Good Habit Campaign”. The campaign was launched by JICA India early this year to raise awareness about hygiene practices importance and also prevention of the spread of COVID-19 and other infectious diseases.
The Japanese version will be distributed on “Full Anime TV”, and the foreign language versions in English and Hindi will be distributed on “anime manga offifical”.
