The Danish esports organisation, Astralis, strengthened its CS-GO roster by signing 18 year old Philip ‘Lucky‘ Ewald. To find out his and his team’s CSGO settings and equipments, head over to our Astralis CSGO settings to find out.

“Lucky” is a player who is showing immense potential, with strong stats to his name. Many professional teams have been keeping an eye on the young AWPer for some time. The signing will open doors for Lucky’s entry into top level CS-GO competitions, which he hasn’t experienced yet. We firmly believe it is only a matter of time before he can even be a contender at S1mple’s Dream Team list.

Since the coming of Valorant, people are wondering if CSGO is even going to survive. But as we can see Astralis thriving, we can definitely say that CSGO is here to say. Though here are some of the arguments for CSGO vs Valorant.

According to Astralis’ director of sports Kasper Hvidt, “the team is working on developing players with the goal to “constantly progress,” and the addition of a young, energetic, and extremely skilled player like Lucky is a part of this strategy. His(Lucky’s) technique and game sense will contribute to the team and create new room for the other players.”

Lucky will be joining the squad as a sixth man and will be active right from day one. “With Lukas ‘gla1ve’ Rossander expecting his first child later this year, the addition of Lucky could prove advantageous,” added Hvidt.

“When Astralis comes knocking, everything changes,” Lucky stated in a press release. Adding that Astralis is without a doubt one of the most professional organizations and that he already feels welcome and like a part of the family.

Lucky’s former team, Tricked Esports and Astralis have both agreed not to disclose the transfer value. Astralis is clearly setting it’s sight on the future with this move. Signing and developing young talent early on can give it the edge against other teams in the years to come. We will get to see the roster come together as a six man team from August 9th.
